On April 28, BV Land Joint Stock Company (code BVL) successfully held the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) 2022, with an ambitious business plan to achieve a revenue target of VND 1,918 billion VND, more than 3 times higher than the previous year. A profit of 195.7 billion VND is more than 6 times higher than the same period last year and 34% higher than the plan proposed to the previous general meeting of shareholders.

According to the consolidated financial statements for the first quarter of 2022, BV Land recorded impressive business growth with net revenue reaching 168.5 billion, rising 54% over the same period. After deducting expenses and recognizing other profits, BV Land’s pre-tax profit is VND 62.4 billion, increasing significantly by nearly 19 times over the same period and completing 32% of the adjusted profit plan for the whole year.

“The year of 2021 is a difficult year for all businesses in general, businesses operating in the field of real estate like BV Land in particular. However, BV Land has overcome these difficulties by proactively adapting, flexible management, suitable forecasts and timely turnaround with market developments. As a result, consolidated revenue of the company in 2021 still reached nearly 600 billion, up 192% compared to 2020; total pre-tax profit in 2021 reached more than VND 30 billion, an increase of 201% compared to 2020.” – Mr. Le Huy Giang, General Director of BV Land shared at the meeting.

In 2022, BV Land will focus on completing ongoing projects, boosting sales and continuing to expand the market with new projects. Accordingly, the high-end real estate complex BV Diamond Hill will conduct a pre-acceptance test to complete the entire project and hand it over to customers at the beginning of the third quarter of 2022; Project BV Bavella Dinh Tri which is currently conducting land clearance, will complete design work in the second quarter, and commence construction in the third quarter of 2022; Project BV Bavella Thanh Ba is also in process of carrying out land clearance work, expected to complete the design and start construction at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022. In addition, the company and its member unit, Lilama Invest, are applying to adjust the planning and investment approval for the Arecas project with a scale of over 41ha in Hoai Duc, Hanoi.

BV Diamond Hill luxury real estate complex will be checked and taken over by BV Land and handed over to customers in the third quarter. In parallel with the projects that have been and are being implemented in Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Dong Nai and Hanoi provinces, BV Land will focus on developing projects in new markets of the central and southern coastal provinces to prepare for the long-term plan. The goal in 2022 is that BV Land strives to be assigned as an additional investor from 4 to 6 projects in the past forms of bidding, auction or project transfer.
